FINAL REFLECTION

  • What have i learnt in this module?
I learned a lot in this course. For example, in the first class, I learned the nine principles of design. Knowing the nine principles of design gave me a clue for the next assignment. In the visual analysis, I applied the theoretical knowledge I learned to explore different design concepts and added some elements to my final work.
  • What did i enjoy the most?
My favorite part is the visual analysis part. Because we can apply the nine principles of design to it. Analyzing the design principles corresponding to each part of the selected work can help us understand the meaning of each design principle more specifically and apply it to our creations.
  • What did i not enjoy the most?
I don't have a favorite. But I didn't do a good job in coloring my final work. This is because I didn't use the drawing software well enough, which made me very distressed. The work I created was a little different from what I imagined.
  • What have i learnt about myself through this module?
After studying this module, I think I will design sketches in the future, but I pay a lot of attention to details and don’t know how to express some parts. Fortunately, I can also mark them out with words. At the same time, you need to have the courage to face your own shortcomings, and there is a lot of room for improvement in time management.
  • What has changed and what has not in my learning journey?
Because this is my first semester of design, everything is new to me. Design majors require blogging and drawing, which are all new beginnings and new challenges for me. At the beginning of the semester, I often feel confused.
What has not changed is that I will still take each of my assignments seriously. Although the progress may be slower and the results of the first attempt may not meet my expectations, I believe that I will get better and better with my continuous learning in the future. This attitude of persistence is something I have not changed.
  • What are my aspirations?
My current ambition is to be an original designer. Although I studied fashion design, I don’t think I will be limited to designing clothes in the future. I want to design something beautiful that can make people feel happy.
